Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Why should I learn to play an instrument?
Playing music simply makes you happy, smart, content, offers a balance to the stress of everyday life, improves coordination, fine motor skills and concentration.
How do I register?
Search on Instrumentor for the teacher whose profile best matches your learning interests. If everything matches, click on "Register" in the profile. The teacher will then contact you and arrange a trial lesson. It's as simple as that.
We are happy to support and advise you in your search. Write an email with your ideas to [email protected] or just call: 043 537 26 24.
Where are the classes held?
Lessons are held in music studios, teachers' classrooms and rehearsal rooms, or online via video call. You can find the respective location on each profile page.
What are the course conditions at Instrumentor?
What happens if I don't like the lessons?
For music lessons to be successful, it is imperative that you feel comfortable with the teacher, share common goals and enjoy the lessons. We know that. That's why we offer an initial obligation-free trial lesson. Afterwards, you can decide whether you want to continue together. If not, you can register with another teacher for another trial lesson.
How do I pay for the lessons?
If you like the trial lesson and would like to continue, we will send you an invoice.
How many lessons are included in the subscription and how long do the lessons last?
A subscription usually includes 10 lessons, each 45 minutes long. Other formats are possible and can be arranged directly with the teacher.
Will the subscription be automatically renewed?
We will send you an email towards the end of your subscription with the option to renew. Of course, you decide whether or not you want to renew. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time before the first lesson.
What happens if I miss a lesson?
Like dentists, fitness trainers and masseurs, Instrumentor has a 24-hour rule. If you cancel the lesson 24 hours in advance, you can make it up free of charge. If you cancel less than 24 hours in advance, the lesson is forfeited, and you cannot make it up.
Do you also offer lessons in producing and DJing?
Yes, you can find our coaches for producing and DJing at www.sner.ch.
